Canadian Pacific railway - internal magazine rebrand
Branding, Art Direction, Design, Print and Project Coordination
The intent for Canadian Pacific’s (CP) internal magazine was to share daily stories and highlight the everyday “win’s” of the CP network which spans across North America. The magazine had been silent for all of 2012, but 2013 was of utmost importance for communicating across the broad network as the company experienced significant changes. We started working with DDB Canada out of Vancouver for the naming and branding process, as well as gathering stories that would make up the inaugural launch of the new magazine. Working internally for CP at the time, my role in this project was to liaise with DDB on design as well as coordinate the multiple photographers we needed to gather the assets required for the magazine. We met with printers to obtain quotes and create a timeline for the printing process for the initial magazine and moving forward. The magazine has brought the CP network closer together by highlighting true railroader stories and achievements.
Canadian Pacific continues to be a valued client of mine today. I design various materials for the Sales and Marketing team, a sample of event invitations below.
