CannaBuild knew that in the burgeoning cannabis industry it was imperative to demonstrate credibility to their audience. To achieve this, they needed a full brand and website that could convey the experience and values of the founders.

The Challenge
Conducting in-depth research that would allow us to build a brand with credibility in a young industry. Creating a website that showcased CannaBuild’s construction expertise and it’s applicability to the cannabis industry.
The Solution
We broke up the project into two phases— branding and website development. In phase one we kicked off the project with a brand workshop to gather in-depth information about the business which we used to make informed decisions for the naming and overall brand. The workshop included reviewing service offerings, identifying target audiences, core value exercises, and a name exploration study. These exercises provided us with the strategic framework to be confident in the name choice, the logo, and all brand elements.
For phase two, we created the website to have it reflect professionalism, depth of industry knowledge, and show that the true partnership Cannabuild forms with their clients. To achieve this we conducted a website workshop to map out the customer journey for each target audience and created a plan with roles and responsibilities for each party in building the site. A writer was hired to provide the tone of voice for the brand and a photographer to capture the actual people working with CannaBuild to put on the site- putting a face to the brand.
The Results
A brand and website that invokes trust in the target audience, conveys CannaBuild’s experience and expertise, and demonstrates the company values.
