The Need
OnlinePresentz outgrew their name and believed it could limit their long term growth plans. They needed a brand that could position them for the future and any new service offering that might arise as they grew.
THE PROJECT
Brand package
Website design
The Challenge
Understanding their service offerings, audience sets, and culture to develop a new name and brand elements that reflected the brand attributes and resonated with their target demographic. Creating a foundational language that would grow with them.
The Solution
We executed a series of workshops with custom exercises to engage the team in discussions and extract key insights to formulate creative solutions. The information collected from these sessions created a strategic framework that lead to the development of the conceptual name Hook + Ladder (H+L).
H+L is a football play, and this concept reflects the strategic service the company provides. H+L promises to ‘hook’ your audience, with a meaningful connection point, then provide them with a ‘ladder,’ representing the ongoing exchange of communication that moves the relationship forwards. The font is bold to show confidence, while the overall logo is playful in its use of iconography. The eye is drawn immediately to the plus sign, creating the “hook” element, while horizontal lines create the “ladder upwards”.
The second portion of this project was a website, with the primary goal of increased conversions. We conducted a website workshop to map out the customer journey for each target audience identified in phase one and created a plan with roles and responsibilities for each party to develop content.
The Results
A brand that can expand past its current service offering and a website that speaks to their audience in a language that resonates has allowed H+L to just about triple their revenues and their number of employees from 2018 to 2019.
